Samuel Stow Jr. was born 2 May 1680 at Marlborough, Massachusetts,1, where he married (1), 19 Dec 1704 or 5, Sarah Snow, with whom he had 7 children at Marlborough.2 He married (2), after 1728, Lydia/4a Minot, daughter of Dr. James/3 Minot and Rebecca/3a Wheeler, and widow of Capt. Benjamin/3 Barrett3,4, who died at Marlborough 14 Feb 1742/43, a. 55.4 He died 13 Feb 1769 (g.s.), a. 88.5 Samuel and Lydia are buried in Spring Hill Cemetery, Marlborough.5
