John Barber married, 24 Jan 1677 at Springfield, Massachusetts, Joanna/2 Miller of Springfield, daughter of Obadiah/1 Miller and Joanna (–?–).1,2 One of 34 qualified voters at the first town meeting of Suffield, Connecticut, 9 Mar 1681/82. He died at Springfield 29 Aug 16903, and, 30 Sep 1690, wid. Joanna and (son) John Barber were appointed administrators of her late husband's estate.3 His widow married James Stephenson.3
