Nathaniel/4g Cook IV, born 2 Mar 1726 at Windsor, Connecticut,1, married, 8 Mar 1754, Martha Scott.2 He served, 1755, in the militia at Amenia, Dutchess County, New York, to which his father had removed in 1750.3 Reportedly the first white settler at Barbourville, Delaware County, locating there in 1796 on the Bryant place4, he died at Tompkins after 1798.2
